color had a special role in the human life. today psychologists use colors to do researches and recognition of people's mental characteristics. luscher's color test is further one of many well known tests. in the literature world a poet shows his way of thinking by using some special words. this research uses the luscher color test and measures the person's psychophysical state based on samih al-ghasem's color preferences. the red color has the most frequency in samih al-ghasem's book. it shows his interest in leading his nation and revolutionary affairs. the black color is the second choice of samih, and it shows his fighting for oppressed palestinians in front of oppression of zionists. the third choice is the green color. luscher argues if this color places in the third row it won't be important anymore. the brown color is the last color in the preference colors of samih. luscher believes whenever a person chooses the gray color in the last row he looks for freedom, and for his end he doesn't care about physical calmness. it is the real characters of samih al-ghasem's personality.
